The child is thankful and never whines or pouts for stuff and asks for things within resonable price ranges and items. For example she woulden't ask for a PS3 one week and be given it. Then ask for a room make-over the next week and whine for it until she gets it. She is also respectful and well mannered.

Is this child spolied?

It sounds like you are trying to prove that your child is not spoiled to someone or for something... If everything you say in the description is true and not at all exaduration, then of course not. However, seems to me that there's something else behind the question.

At first glance of your question, I would say no not at this time. But if continue to buy her everything she asked for such as PS3. You might be training a spoiled child in the future. Just make sure the child understands why you purchased the gift. Reward them for the good behavior, at explain why you did it. Children need to have limits and understand right from wrong. It sounds like someone else has put this in your head. Do what you think is best and not worry what otters think.

Good luck and trust in your guidance.

it might not be that the child pouts or not. The child might be spoiled by the parent....... Is something different. Sometimes if the parents provide too much the child , is still being spoiled. Like name brand shoes when they are one.... which by the way they won't know the difference by that age. or if you get them all the toys you can buy. The child might not complain, but the parent is the one that spoils them.

No, the child wouldn't be spoiled. If the child whines, pouts, etc if he/she is told they *can't* have something than there is a problem...but not of being spolied....of being greedy

Sounds like a well behaved child. If she is asking for things like a room make-over and after being told "no" reacts reasonably then I'd say she's not spoiled.

I'd think so. If she had to whine until she got something, and the parent gave in, then yes, that is being spoiled. She is not learning that she needs to earn things, and could possibly go through life expecting things to be handed to her.

I wouldn't consider her to be a spoiled brat if that is what you mean, but I would consider her a little spoiled. But that's not bad at all unless her attitude changes. I think it's wonderful to have such a good child & I would spoil her myself as well....these are the type of children you enjoy spoiling...

Well, the child is polite, but the test is what happens if she DOESN'T get what she asks for. Polite is no small achievement, but if she does poorly when she doesn't get what she asks for, then she might be spoiled.

Giving them everything they ask for doesn't make them a better person, it just makes parenting easier in the short run.

You have the child every parent hopes for.

Surprise her with something she has asked for but couldn't get at the time, and thank her for being a godsend!

*Do you buy her everything that she asks for?
*Does she help out around the house and clean her room, or do you do it for her?
*Does she cry/whine when she doesn't get what she wants?
If so then she most definitely is spoiled.
