I'm a teenager, and I'm actually fairly light, but my stomach seems to be getting some kind of a pot belly thing..I'm not sure if that's what you'd call it, but I've got excess belly fat that I really want to get rid of, because it's not at all pleasant. Once again, I'm not trying to 'lose weight' , I'm just trying to lose some of that fat down there...any ideas or exercises that may help for that kind of thing..?

the only way to keep insulin sensitivity high is to keep active. when insulin sensitivity is high the body will shuttle more nutrients into muscle cells and store less in fat cells...

when insulin sensitivity is high body fat decreases, as insulin sensitivity decreases body fat increases.

You can NOT selectively loose weight or fat, as opposed to muscles, which you can selective strengthen. Not sure how much 'belly fat' you really have but if you are thin, you may want to remember that the human body has a wide variation. No everyone can look like a supermodel...they represent an extreme lifestyle coupled with 'lucky' genes.

Lay off sugar and carbs after 5pm. Do 4 sets of 25 crunches every other day. Drink lots of water. If this is not enough... start running 30 mins. 4 days a week. Hope this helps... Sumer is coming!!!
