im really sorry to break it to you hun..but you really cant change a person to care about you more than they already do...i know you may think im a liar...but that's how people are...you can only wish they would recognize how much you truly love them and care for them but they just never do..at times they do but those moments are only temporary...you can show someone that you love them more than your own life and do everything for them but it rarely changes them..however just love him the way that you do and i hope that he will acknowledge your love for him...i wish you best of luck

The problem with most girls is that they expect their boyfriend to change for them. The sad truth is that he will not. So what if you've been together for 3 years! My brother has been with his girlfriend for 3 years and she is so clingy and paranoid, it is an unhealthy relationship. Even though you've been with him for years, you need to accept the fact that you probably will not be together forever and were not meant to be soul mates. I know this may be depressing to you, but it's a whole lot closer to the truth than you may imagine.
Get a grip with reality and instead of expecting him to change for you, you need to support him in the things he does. If you don't like what he's doing or the way he acts and he won't change, then obviously you two weren't meant to be.

I dont think you should change him. If he keeps acting this way around you then break up with him, or threaten to break up with him and then tell him if he doesnt chaoe up, that you guys are over! It worked with me when i had a situtaion like that! He shot up out of his chair, because i said it in front of all of his friends. and he has been different ever since!

You'll never change him. Believe me! Move on and find some one who will treat you the way you want to be treated!

Why change him into what he is not... Just dump him and find someone, whom you do not have to de-asshole.
