Everyone I know has been paid on a Friday, however my date according to the IRS website is a Tuesday. Anyone know?

I am not sure whether or not that is true, but I do know that if they put it through on Tues, it would post on Fri. I as well though received mine on a Friday, last friday in fact, it was great!

I have a Tuesday date as well, and I think any day it will be updated and reflect a Friday for a direct deposit date. They always project a date in the future and then when the time gets closer, they tell you the exact date the refund will deposit into your account---and it's always on a Friday.

Direct deposits are sent to the banks on Friday, and checks are mailed on Friday, according to the schedule published by the IRS.

The IRS always has cut their refund checks and mailed them on Friday's.
Now with direct deposit, I don't know what day that usually is. It's not every business day though, like that answer above said.

The IRS only authorizes money once a week. If you have it direct deposited, it will post to your account on a friday only. If you are having a check sent to your house it will only arrive in monday's mail.

Everyone get a Tuesday date but the initial date is just an stimate, check a week later after you have efile and you will be able to see the exact date.

Direct deposits are being sent out on fridays at least right now I'm not sure about the mail.
