I was having this debate with a very ignorant person today about GOD and ALLAH, and he believes that ALLAH is a different GOD that muslims believe in and is not the same as the GOD that christians, and jews believe in. and that ALLAH told the muslims to blow up buildings and kill innocent people in his name, if he would have read a book he would have known that ALLAH= GOD in arabic. period. muslims dont pray to mohamed as there god, he is there profit and messenger of god just like jesus and moses, and muslims believe in jesus and moses..etc, they believe in them and there books, but also as profits not gods, but the emphasis on mohamed because his message came with the holy Quran. How do people feel about this subject, i wanna try and get things clear about this topic even though it is endless. I am a muslim and we believe in all the holy books and profits, and the whole terrorist thing, there extremists, did u guys forget nazis and kkk?

ok about the whole christ is the son of god, and god not having a son in islam, ( i wont make any comments on the ignorant answers, dont waste ur time answering again) well, yes in islam god says he does not have a son (biologically) but arent we all gods children, just like christ? he just took it a step further, and the only reason muslims dont believe in the bible is because of its many changes and versions over the years, how can u believe in a book thats been altered so many times over. im not defending my religion, cuz im not that reliegious, but GOD is the same god in ALL religions just different names, thats my point. and ironically enough Judiasim i think is most close to Islam in there beliefs and culture, and they hate eachother the most.
I believe in christ but not as the son of god, and i believe in moses and abraham..etc. but mohamed was the LAST prophet and my religion, all the previous prophets and books were just making way and getting ppl ready for the Quran & islam

I had a different reponse and now have just read the details correctly. Funny huh? But yes, people will have this debate till they meet the promised day or allah wills something different. A totally underlooked aspect to extremists is that they exist in every religion. Well, just about. But things like jainism are just to peacefull. They won't even step on an ant. But there are zionists, neo zazis, kkk, etc. The most subtle one that is still extreme to it's own sense is the nation of islam(where Wali Farad is allah). But that is something different. That has more to do with gods and earths and how the "so called" minority is being subjected to a bunch of bullsh*t. Present party included. But you can not convince one that they are wrong. Correction. You can prove someone is correct or incorrect, but that does not at all mean that they will take heed. Arrogance or ignorance? You tell me. A good topic that is overlooked is how the British are still in action till this day in their imperialistic policies in africa. let's not forget that they ARE of the christian faith. From the genocides of S Africa to the hit and run tactics for the world of the unseen to leave civilizations in dissaray. Most people lack the comprehension to aknowledge a GOD that was never incarnate. A GOD capable of creating other GODs. A GOD capable of doing what ever SHE wants. To an extent, the guy you were arguing with is correct. because those of the christian faith aknowledge jesus as being the GOD of the prophets. Absurd, yes I know. But that is still to thier acceptance. So you can say that allah is the lord GOD of israel(pbuh). For one more great description. But you MUST come to grips that they truly worship the christ with no ifs ,ands, or buts about it.
How can you tell a blind man that the sky is blue? Same precept. They live in thier own world and the messed up part about it is it effects the globe tremendously. And they praise that. I live on the same planet. I mean, when it comes to a point when rain water is no longer palatable, there is a serious issue. When you have to PAY for water. There is a serious problem. And I really do think that people in the high ranks of this life would charge for air if they could. This planet has too many a**holes. And only one toilet. But everybody has to take a sh*t. Hahahaha. I have to spoil myself sometimes.
Anyways, take care sweetie and don't let people get to you so much. Everybody gets agravated off of something.
"And this life is but a mere passing. The home of the hereafter is the life indeed"-quran
Peace be upon you and may you be well pleased with allah and HE with you. MUAH:)

I have a problem with your theory. In the Q'ran, it says Allah has no son. The Bible proclaims Jesus Christ as the Son of God. How can this be the same person? Allah is not God.

I am not a christian or a Muslim.
Although i heard one explanation of gods that i liked, it might help explain these said different gods to you.
Yes i do agree, it is at times the fundamentalists, that take it to the extremes, and harm people. even if not by there actions but by there words.
The many Goddesses / Gods found throughout the world are nearly endless. Sometimes cultures came up and older Goddesses / Gods were absorbed into newer belief systems.
In my own beliefs, I view the various goddesses / Gods as different facets of a Supreme Divine Feminine.
Much like different faces on a diamond, or like the different parts of our personalities. Some parts may be distinct, but they are all part of a larger whole.
I hope this helps.
Blessings ALD

Let me show you a little secret...
Allah is not god.
Another secret...
Mohammad is still in his grave.
Jesus has risen from the dead.
If this is true, then Jesus is NOT just a prophet.
Either He is Lord or He is a liar. Since all prophesies spoken of in the Bible to this time have been fulfilled, He MUST BE GOD! Allah hasn't raised Mohammad, and he can't. Why? Jehovah IS God.
Read you Qu'ran. Even that book promotes Islam to take the world by sword into its religion. That is YOUR peace. That is your religion. That is what you believe.

I can understand your displeasure with having to extract your foot from your mouth so, so often.
it must be very annoying.
it might help if you stop presenting falsehoods as truth.
Jehovah God is the ONLY true God, the God of the Christians and the Jews.
allah is not that God.
allah may mean god
but it does not mean Jehovah God.
allah is a false god, created by Satan to be as close to the real God as possible so as to decieve as many as possible.
Satan has been very successful.
I wish you well.
take care of those feet.

I'm not an expert on the subject, so I might be wrong, but I would think if you believe there's only one "God", and he believes there's only one "God", then you believe in the same God, even though he might be called different names, and even though you might believe some different things ABOUT that "God". Does that make sense?

Okay
Allah is also Jesus then.
Thumbs down do not make this fact go away, they are both different Gods based on the original God. They "share" a common ancestor if you will.
