I agree with banff... its go the most touristy stuff and its amazingly georgeous. But if you want eh full rocky experience do the drive between jasper and banff its only a few hours and its really great with loads of places to stop along the way for small hikes and such depending on what your looking for. And Jasper is just as amazing as banff.

have to agree with the jasper and banff as beautiful places to go. especially in the early spring.
