I am not joking. This happened to me in 2004. 20 hours with no treatment, now my penis hurts all the time. It has been 2 years and I am about to give up.

Note: I was in jail when this happened. It was a medication side-effect (Zoloft)

Hi there. If priapism is not treated, the blood which is trapped in the penis would clot and therefore the circulation would be stopped, the penile tissue would then die and slough off. The person would probably suffer from gangrene which could spread systemically causing sepsis, septic shock and death. I know of no documented case of unresolved priapism though theoretically a man would probably die. The condition is so painful that the individual would seek out some kind of medical attention.Have a nice day.

Yes. I have read of several medical instances, prior to all these erectile drugs, where this has happened and it is painful, dangerous and sometimes cannot be treated. One instance quoted the organ had to be removed. This was about 15 years ago in a New York hospital so be careful!!

from time to time that is relaxing to make certain how the vote would take position. Like in a unmarried case I requested a question about a political decision for a pal and enable the vote casting opt for which thanks to bypass. in the different case people are basically lazy or don't understand sufficient about the problem to attraction to close at the same time as they were given the right answer. (10 factors will not in any respect fairly decrease it for certain technical practise)

I have seen this before but it has to be treated because the worst effect of it is you get gangrene due to the las=ck of blood supply to the penis and it needs to be REMOVED.
So if you aren't joking then you better get help.
If you are joking then it ISN'T FUNNY...

It has certainly happened. If an erection goes on for more than about 4 hours, the penile tissue starts to die (necrose) from lack of oxygen.

I had it for three hours once, one more and I would have seeked medical attention.
