I think she's either playing it safe or playing hard to get. Don't worry and most importantly don't give up bro, just keep it up, you two seem to really like each other, I'm sure something good will come out of this.

First off, you both need to grow up and learn to communicate. This adolescent attempt at looking and sounding cool, really hurts your relationship, or any chance you have at a relationship.
Then you need to sit her down and ask her what exactly you mean to her. Straight out point blank. Then sit back and wait for her answer.
After that you will know.
