You don't need to loose a thing except the thoughts of being fat and not good enough. You need to concentrate on being healthy. That is the goal. Eat small healthy nourishing meals and snacks every day and exercise to stay healthy. that is all you need to worry about. If you want to live a normal well balanced and healthy life with healthy children and a nice man for a husband then concentrate on health and good manners and education and kindness and giving back to the community if you are able. This will bring you more good feelings about yourself than anything else. Try volunteering at a nursing home, a hospital being a candy striper or just to take magazines and books around to patients. Or get them water or other things they can't get for themselves. Something! a food bank. A local childcare facility or food bank. Try to get your mind off yourself and on someone else, you'll be surprised how much better you feel about yourself and how you look and the important things in life. It will change you for the better. Good luck no matter what you decide to do. Just know you are great the way you are and can be even better if you help others.

Losing 5 to 8 lbs. at the most sounds reasonable. I'm 5'
and weigh107 and wear size 4-6. When you are petite (on the short side) like us every pound shows. If you lost 15 and weighed 103 you would be too skinny and look anorexic. It also depends on how good you feel at a certain weight. I hate to admit this but I will for you.20 years ago I thought I was fat at 108 and lost down to 89 lbs.My mom gave me a Christmas present in July because she thought I'd be dead by Dec.lol.I thought I looked so good until I saw pictures years later. On the flip side, 8 months ago I weighed 150. Now I feel that for my height my weight is normal and I feel great.Good luck and please don't overdo the weight loss.

I would say that at 5'4" and 118 lbs you are just about right where you should be, maybe even a little underweight. My daughter is 5'3" and she weighs about 130 lbs. Doctor says she is right on track, weight-wise, and she wears a size 5 jean.

I think age is on those scales also aand sometimes bone density...need to at least know your age. If you are that tall and only in 3 grade, I's be concerned. It you are almost done growing i'd more than happy with 118. I am 5'4" and I feel great around 150. Depends also on who you are and where you are in your life.

NO! Don't lose weight! It is not healthy to be so skinny and you are a good weight right now. Do not listen to the media and all those models and stuff.
