He keeps lying to me and has just lost his license so now he always wants me to go to his house which is an hour each way away. He also quit his job on monday and didnt tell me.

Yes, you should, or at least until he gets his life back on track. Just tell him that you love him, but your not his mother and you want to break it off for a little while and see what happens. If he really loves you, he'll get his life on track and win you back!

break up with him, right this second. First off, if he wants you to drive to his place, he's obviousley to lazy to get a ride there. He needs some common sense is all. Why didn't he tell you about losing the job? one answer: he probably though you'd nag him about it or something like that. sounds the the generic coach potatoe lowlife.

Um,
I would ask him if he is okay. He may just need someone to talk to. Maybe other things are going bad too. You just don't know. So talk to him, and then if he still lies to you and doesn't tell you things that you should know, then I would break up with him.
