I'm not a doctor, but it might be pink eye. Even though the eye isn't pink, those are still major symptoms of it. Take him to the doctor, though. Hope he feels better soon!

Defintely worth a visit to the doctor. Be sure to wash your hands well (his too!) and don't let him rub his eye. You can put a warm washcloth on his eye to clear it out and help relieve soreness, but get him to the pediatrician first thing tomorrow. My daughter always got the gooey eye discharge whenever she had a cold as a baby, so it can be a sign of a lot of things.

It sounds like an infection, possibly staph. He will probably need antibiotics to clear this up. Green discharge is a symptom of a bacterial infection and I would suggest that he be seen by a doctor.

sounds like a terrible sinus allergy, get some visine and flush the childs eyes, get a warm washcloth and put olive oil on it and rub across his eyes(tell him to close eyes)
feed him carrots and dip to help eyes.
Your best bet is the artificial tear stuff.
Sounds like he needs childrens dayquil to drain sinuses.

You need to go to an opthamologist. It could be several things, and the treatment may contain prescription eye drops.

i'd attempt to get your son into the pediatrician. crimson eye is very contagious. generally the release out of the attention is very thick and goopy no longer watery nonetheless. i'd be slightly worried approximately it finding eco-friendly. greater valuable risk-free than sorry.

It may be conjunctivitis, go get it checked asap as it is contagious to his other eye, and to other people around him.
He will need ointment or drops to treat it, and hand washing at all times is imperative to stop it spreading.
