Hello Sarah, you won't like my answer I'm afraid but, it needs to be said! Another word for 'teacup' is 'runt' and the only difference is that you pay considerably more for a 'teacup'! Tiny kits and pups are specifically bred for people like yourself and with no thought for the animal at all. The other thing that you need to be aware of, is that 'teacups' are not known for being healthy, so, as you will be getting to know your local vet quite well, you may as well start by asking his/her advice!

I agree with Alex, the Chi breeder; there is no such thing as a teacup anything! It's just an expression some irresponsible breeders of dogs use when one of the litter is exceptionally small....or a runt! I have never heard of a teacup Persian & if you find one, run the other way....it's not a good sign of a reputable cat breeder who is obviously not breeding Persians to the correct standard!

Don't. Even if you can find one, breeding animals to be abnormally small is a bad idea due to increased medical issues.
