This attitude devides people using racial and cultural defferences. It seconds to the "believe it or die" attitude.

It's upsetting that "Chosen Ones" attitudes are causing problems. I know totally what you mean, though.
It is true that the Bible states that Christians are chosen by God, called out of sin to become new creations. However, the proper response to this is not "holier than thou" crap. 2 Corinthians 10:17-18 tells us that if we are to boast, it is not to boast in ourselves but in God. We will not be made righteous by ourselves, but by God.
As sinners, we are wretched people. Horrible enemies of God...then God saved Christians. To have anything but an attitude of thankfulness and love and joy and a desire to tell the world about the power of Christ is an affront to His Gospel.

perhaps you are thinking that we consider ourselves better that is far from the truth,the meaning is that since we have become disciples of our father he has chosen us /that could be said for you as well example:if you committed to Him everything you would be His chosen as well the devil is the author of confusion and trying to confuse you into thinking we consider ourselves better and that is not true.................God Bless

Everyone believes that there god is the god. I believe my God is the God. I also know this is my belief, is just one belief ,and there are many beliefs. I agree that when i try to make my god the only god that causes problems.
