But not my left side. The sensation is getting more intense and starting to move to my head and other side of the body. I live in Mexico, and do not have medical insurance to cover a visit to the doctor. Any idea what it is and what I can do about it?

It's not a stroke; they are serious and if you could move you would have gone for emergency help by now. But you should see a chiropractor; you may have pinched nerves.
In any case, you should get some expert help right away. What do we in Yahoo land know?

Nelly, I'm sorry you don't have insurance, as I know this makes it harder to get to the doctor or hospital, but you really should get checked out VERY SOON. Numbness isn't always serious, but it may be and you don't want to take any chances. You should go to the emergency room of the nearest hospital to make sure you aren't having a stroke. Good luck.

Go to the nearest emergency room immediately! Better yet, call an amublance to take you there now! Right now! Don't wait! It doesn't matter that you have no insurance..you can make small payments either weekly or monthly, and the hospital can not refuse you or the payments you send! Please, seriously, this could be something deadly happening to you right at this moment...go get help..call 911 NOW! It's better to be safe than sorry or dead!!
