The views of many Christians consider outsiders, now and 50 years ago, is like two dark and distorted mirrors facing each other, that you only dare to look at obliquely. They light the fire of their crosses screaming hosannas and damning those who will not succumb their judgment, because any not yielding to them are considered to be attacking.

I am also old enough to remember the Japanese being moved into camps during World war two and my Father leaving Paris Texas (Camp Maxey) for D-Day. I can remember trying to keep Buzz bombs away from Britain in concert with others of the Lore via sheer will power.

I wonder if these Xians really don't understand your comparison, as they say, or if they're just pretending they don't to avoid answering you.
Here's another way of putting it :
In the late 1700s some people wanted democratic rule. Conservative elements of the church pointed to the Bible and said it proved that the king ruled by God's will.
In the mid 1800s some people wanted to end slavery. Conservative elements of the church pointed to the Bible and said it proved that God approved of slavery.
In the early 1900s some people wanted to give women the vote. Conservative elements of the church pointed to the Bible and said it proved that God made women inferior to men.
In the mid 1900s some people wanted to end segregation. Conservative elements of the church pointed to the Bible and said it proved God wanted to keep the races separate.
When you look back at how your parents and grandparents dealt with these things, are you ashamed or proud?
Now some people want to allow gay marriage. Conservative elements of the church are pointing to the Bible and saying it proves God hates homosexuality.
When your children and grandchildren look back at how you deal with this, will they be ashamed or proud?
That's from Rev. James Huber

50 years ago blacks were looking for a chance. They were starting to gain their spot or place in sports, music, and employment in general. I think the way they sounded was optimistic. A lot of the ones that made it then are putting blacks down today. They want to stay in power by keeping other blacks unaware of reality. Handouts don't work. We are running out of money. I think what I hear most now is anger and fear. I know that this didn't exactly answer your question. So let me add this. Fifty years ago blacks were trying to merge with society. They acted "normal" and for the most part and spoke clearly. Today they want to be different. They have given up music for rap. They have developed their own version of speech. They no longer want to be a proud American. They want to be mistreated African Americans.

What? Do you have a point, or just ranting?
=====edit====
Most of those people from 50 years ago are dead (at least they are not on the Internet, even if alive).
====edit2===
So, I take it that you are trying to say that the Baptist Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. was a racist, or that the African Methodist Episcopalian (A.M.E.) church was oppressing blacks 50 years ago during the civil right era? Don’t you hate people who over generalize? They always look like idiots in the end.
Once again, what modern day tactics are you ranting about?

what drug are you on?
people are attacking christianity at times....so what?
Christians do not say the african americans are after them... many african americans ARE christians, so this makes no sense.
Satan attacks everyone...except his friends.
what is wrong with bringing god's law and truth to pagans? Most of the time, pagans appreciate the help. Worshipping idols made out of wood gets kind of tired after awhile.

Gee, your soooooo articulate... and quite full of it. I disagree with whatever your rambling incoherent "question" (I use the term loosely) is trying to say. I know of no Christian who believes they are being attacked by African Americans. In fact, quite a lot of African Americans are Christian, so what exactly is your point?

If you are talking about Christian racism,don't forget that there were a great many Christian abolitionists and anti-racism activists as well.

What? I really don't understand where you are getting this from. Do you have any reason to think that this is happening? Like evidence or sources or...anything.
