The leaders of every religion should state unequivocally there stand on these issues and put in writing how they come to their view from their holy books. Any teaching violence should be jailed immediately.

I read that four times and I still don't understand what you're talking about.

Can you please rephrase? What sayings from holy books? What are you talking about? Preaching of hatred toward other non-believers? Huh?

Do you mean the Muslims? If you do, they believe in the exact same god Christians do so they aren't non-believers in any way.

I'm confused.

Edit: WHAT? Honestly, I don't have a clue what you're talking about. it all seems to be random thoughts. How is that an inferiority complex if you didn't explain it in a way that makes sense to me and for me to ask you to rephrase so that it makes sense?

Exactly...the Koran is specifically very guilty of advocating violence to nonbelievers. I can't understand why ppl say Islam is such a peaceful religion when we hear news reports of violence in the Middle East 24/7...it's like saying killing ppl is ok.

I would like an answer to this question as well. What are we going to explain to Our Maker? How will we ever be able to present a reasonable defense of our behavior?

You want to control all religions because you don't find these words significant in any way? It is the sinful nature of man who twists words for their own delights that causes the destruction, not the words.

I don't know about you, but I'm not neglecting it. I try to fight it through education and rationality. I work to promote science over superstition and justice over religious doctrine.

Let's take it a step farther, why don't we just burn books! Holy books don't cause the violence, people who mis interpret them do.

Well said.
Religion, more than any other force in history, has done FAR more damage than good.
