To live in life is the meaning of life. But when this begins to happen the false ego will become depressed. Life is aways now, the ego needs past & future to dwell on. Just pratise being as you are, it's not easy or everyone would do it, but the benifits.............Ahhhhhhhh.

I wrote an essay about what's the meaning of life.. It goes a little something like this..
What is the meaning of life?.. As I was sitting on my desk, trying to accumulate all the knowledge I have for me to be able to give justice to this question, i thought, what defenition of life do I know?.. If I would refer to the dictionary, then life is the condition that distinguishes organisms from inorganic objects and dead organisms, being manifested by growth through metabolism, reproduction, and the power of adaptation to environment through changes originating internally. But I think there's more to life than just scientific whatsoever. I think life is far beyond, what science can explain.
In my opinion, my life is very important.. how important?.. well, life is like role-playing.. Its like, an epic movie, without rehearsals and I am the center hero. Without me, there will be no great achievements, no impressive battles, no dramatic encounters.. without me, there wouldn't be a story at all.. THATS how important I am.
God gave me this role to play. God also gave me free will and its up to me, how I would like to portray my role. I can make my role more attractive. I can tell the truth. I can taste. I can smell. I can feel pain. I can't make all things happen. I can't please everybody. I can do anything that I want in this world.
But the best part of my role is that I can love. I can do great things. I can help those in need. I can do many good deeds in this small place that we live in. I will value peoples lives. I can even save lives if my knowledge permits me to. and lastly, I have strong faith in God.
And if I attain these celebrated things, I will be awarded something that no amount of money could buy. The honor of eternity beside God.
But only hero's are awarded this enchanted experience. So, be the hero in your own epic story.

You can view life either as a duty or a test. In any way you look at it, we have to face our responsibilities. For some the challenge is enermous. Dont despair. Feel proud of the fact that you are able to carry out your heavy responsibilities and face the challenges that come your way. You are stronger than anyone else....learn from the experience and grow....just as the clouds that block the sun eventually move on, bad times will pass and good times will roll in...hang on in there...:)

If you're looking for a purpose strictly applying to this world and nowhere else, there is none. Everything you do will eventually fall prey to entropy and decay into hydrogen despite our bests efforts to save the globe and make the world a better place.
If you're willing to accept a higher power, you can find purpose in glorifying God in the many forms that it takes on. Many things gain new purpose in a God-based context (such as acquiring money to help fund people traveling across the globe in Christ's name). God loves you, and He wants to give you a purpose.

The purpose of life is to get to know the God who gave you life and to come to understand why He gave you life.
I discovered this 36 years ago when quite unexpectedly I became born again through a personal confrontation with the resurrected Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. He gave me His Holy Spirit, and I began to understand, for the first time in my life, who God was, what He was like, and why He gave me life and consciousness. He has brought me into great peace. May He do the same for you.

I believe that the meaning of life, is to come here to earth to be able to learn, to grow, and to enjoy life. I believe in God and I know that he wants us to return to Him, to try our best and to deal with trials and tribulations so that we can appreciate the great things of life. There are times when life gets hard, but look around you and enjoy the wonderful things things that life has, don't focus on the bad things. I hope that you feel better soon. :-)

From a scientific point of view, our purpose in life is to create more life. Our second-strongest drive in life is reproduction.
