Booting from BIOS?

Here's the deal! I put Vista on my computer. GREAT! Well... Now, I wanna go back to using Solaris. How do I get my DVD rom to run using this new "BIOS" that Vista has?

Vista does not have a BIOS.
The BIOS is an instruction set stored on a small chip on your computer's motherboard.

Put the dvd in the drive reboot the pc. when it first starts up hit f2 or if it tells you different on startup for setup. then look for boot options and have it boot from dvd and it will boot the dvd.
