Aliens; I should know since I married one.....oh, you mean extraterrestrials? Since recent research demonstrated that the formation of life from organic chemicals is really fairly straightforward, we have had the emergence of a new scientific field, astrobiology (even has its own journal). Scientists working in the field believe that the universe is probably teeming with planets where life has evolved.
So it's a safe bet to put your money on aliens.

Aliens.
There is already a precident for life developing on a planet in the right place. Earth. Why not somewhere else in the gigantic universe?
As opposed to a divine entity that behaves exactly like something that isn;t there at all.

Aliens. (Not little flying saucers, but with billions of planets in billions of galaxies all over the universe, all with their own suns and solar systems, I find it really hard to believe we're the ONLY planet with life on it.)

God is the one to more likely exist since He was the one that created this world and the many other worlds in the universe. So if there is life on another planet, then it must be because of the will of God. I know that God is without end, so I think that he still continues to create, for He is eternal. :-)
