Depending on your age and what your skin tone is like, I used to love Neutrogena oil - free acne wash and clear pore astringent. Now, that I'm older, I found St.Ives, clear pore cleanser, (it's green) It's great and doesn't dry out my skin that still breaks out. Weird to me, dry skin that breaks out, but it works and it's less expensive. Good luck........

All the lotions may help a little, but clear skin is more a function of cleanliness and good genes (and not being a teenager). I wouldn't waste my money on expensive cosmetics. Staying out of the sun also helps as it will help prevent wrinkling. Also, avoid smoking, as this is known to harm complexion.

Just water and such wont do it. You need to get some cleansers. I recommend Proactiv if you have acne. It works soo well and it really may seem like it doesnt at first but it only takes about a month and by months your wont break out at all!

it's better if you use a cleanser that has salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide because those chemicals are specially targeted to kill the bacteria that cause zits and acne. if you want something fairly cheap, i recommend st. ives. it's only $4 on drugstore.com and it's supposedly very effective. i've never tried that, but i like neutrogena oil-free acne cleanser.

Check your diet too. Avoid foods that contain lots of oils like french fries.
