I was fired a over a year ago from a department store at the mall because I talked back to my manger (this was a new manager who had cut my hours down to 8 hours a week). I had always been able to add hours to my schedule with the other managers because they knew I was a good worker. This new b**** didn't want to hear it though. I was having trouble consentrating on my work that night (but why would I , after all I was going to make 56 dollars that week before taxes, wow). I kept asking her for more hours and we kinda got into it and I said something I shouldn't have, not profanity, but she didn't take it well and fired me on the spot. It went on record as gross misconduct and I was forbidden from entering the store for life. I usually meet my dates at the mall for coffee and some of them want to walk around the mall and talk. It's a good safe way to spend time together too. However, I have had some who wanted to go into the store that I worked at and well I can't go in.

I don't feel that I should have to reveal this situation to a complete stranger that I will probably only have one date with. What is a good way to deal with a situation in which my date might say " Oh, look I didnt know that store was in the mall, let's go look around". I can't sneak in because the same managers are there and so is the security people. I don't want to come across as weird or a bad person, as anyone can have a situation like mine happen. My employer was too harsh and actually lost one of their best customers when they fired me. I can deal with not shopping there but what is a good excuse to tell anyone who is with me that wants to go in? I can't really meet anywhere else because there aren't many good meeting places in my neighborhood and I don't have transportation so I choose to meet somewhere in my area.

Turn it around -- tell your friends (or your dates) that this store did you wrong, and you refuse to go in one ever again. They don't need to know you were fired from it.

Just don't go anywhere near where you used to work. Why would you want to make the situation any worse than what it could be? To avoid all the trouble just avoid being seen anywhere near your old job. She could go so far as to call the police on you. Do you want that? It ain't worth it. Find another hang out spot in the mall, i'm quite sure it's big enough to hang somewhere else.

My best advice in NOT to go in... its not worth is unless there is a way you are able to talk to the manager and see if you can work something out. If the guy doesn't understand why you cant go in then hes not worth it ha ha!!
