It is not true! The word Allah Means God in Arabic, but unlike the Engish word "God" it can not be used plural like Gods or turned into a woman like Godess... It is the one God the God of the everyone, Christian and Jew but the Jews and Chrstians lost there way and Islam has showed them back to the staight path.

The term "Allah" simply means "the [one] god", implying a single Almighty deity reminiscent of the Judeo-Christian "Yahweh" / "Jehovah". However, it is significant that "Allah" is clearly NOT a personal name, while the Hebrew Tetragrammaton clearly *IS* a personal name for Almighty God.
It's not exactly wrong to call the Almighty by the impersonal "God", just as it's not wrong to call one's offspring "Child". Faithful men of the Holy Scriptures used both "God" and a form of "Jehovah" when they referred to and addressed the Almighty. However, the term "Allah" seems intended specifically to reject Judeo-Christian spiritual heritage.
If we want a familiar and close relationship, it makes sense to use the personal name of someone we love. The Scriptures encourage us to use God's personal name.
The Hebrew name “Yahweh” (or “Yehowah”) does seem to accurately pronounce the divine name. Just as the Hebrew name “Yeshua” (or “Yehoshua”) is translated into “Jesus” in English, the Hebrew name “Yahweh” is translated into “Jehovah” in English.
The important thing is to use God’s personal name in whatever language you speak, rather than insisting upon the impersonal! The name “Yahweh” is certainly preferable to the non-name “God” or “Lord”, especially if you speak Hebrew. If you speak English, feel free to use the name "Jehovah".
(Psalms 83:18) That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth
(John 17:26) [Jesus said] I have made your name known to them and will make it known, in order that the love with which you loved me may be in them

Well, Muslims know Allah as the One and Only True God, Creator of the Universe and all in existence, generator of life and death, The Sustainer, The Merciful, The Beneficent...etc.
So, you can call Him whatever you want to call Him...
But I agree with you, if the God of Christianity is Jesus, or Jesus to Christians is the "son of God", then you are right, Allah is NOT the same God...
BTW - "Allah" in Arabic is the concatenation of two words "The God".

God has left specific instructions about names and images. Their general gist is, "Thou shalt not look upon My face and live." So stop trying to fool with names and speculation about how to visualize God. The Muslims and the Jews have it about right; but the Christians will keep chasing after Him, trying to have a look at what they cannot hope to see.

The GREAT deceit of Satan is to believe (since there is a God in most religions), as long as you believe in one God its great cause they're all the same. BIG LIE!!! DEATH in eternal hell, if believed.
There is One and Only ONE true God, and that one is the same as Christ, our Holy Spirit, and Him....all three in one. Trust that ONLY....then Heaven is your next and forever life.
The end times are coming, don't be deceived!!

God doesn't care if you believe God is divided in 3 or not, or things like that. God cares about love, respect and peace. Allah, Dios, God is only one.

There are several religions with stories of prophets performing surprising miracles. That's how they gained credence among incarnates. However, none of their heroes, including Christ himself, have been able to stop plagues, diseases, poverty and crimes against innocents. They have failed to show COMPASSION toward us.
Why?
Well, because none of them were truly the veritable soul of The Original Creator. They were simply prophets who had very large groups of angels who worked around them to grant them Gifts from Spirit in order to convert those in the flesh and have everyone think of them as gods.
What would they gain out of the game?
They would have you join their hierarchy in the Mid Realms of Spirit after you transition to strengthen their Group Entities that were always fluctuating in numbers of members because they were constantly descending to lower spheres due to their nefarious acts and astral attacks against others in Spirit and in the flesh as well.
