If angels are to have no free will and were created by God to worship him and do his work, then how is it possible that Lucifer was a fallen angel who went against God?

This is one of the most misunderstood concepts in the bible. Angels are beings of choice just like man is. In fact, the apostle Paul mentioned in the bible that there are "elect" angels. If you read the book of Jude you will find where it says some angels became conceited and left their heavenly homes. These are not the same angels who fought along the side of Satan.

The Bible doesn't need to say about free will in angels. If Lucifer sinned and warred against heaven with a third of them behind him, there is free will.

Who said Angels had no free will? I am sure God gives them the choice to do his work.

Angels do have intellect and free will. However, once they have decided on an allegience, it is not changable. An angel can choose to turn from God but then there is no turning back or a way to salvation.

Angels have a Limited Free-Will.
Surprise!!!
They cannot Choose their Own Words to Speak.
They are Servants, you Tell them what to say.
Satan chose his own words and got Kicked out of Heaven because of it.

We are a Little Lower than the Angels at This Time. (Angels are Powerful)
Later, WE will Judge THEM.
