I try to practice practical compassion, and to do as little harm as I can in the world (while recognizing that sometimes harm is necessary). I try to live up to my word. I try to be honest and to treat others fairly.

It boils down to unselfishness. Most of the immorality committed today requires selfishness, so being thankful and helping others is the best path to being moral.

Your instincts can tell you what is right and what is wrong. You dont need a preacher to tell you. We all have the ability to decide but at times we choose not to listen to that inner voice out of our desires, fears and ego...listen to your heart and you will find the answer.
