Only the Fundamentalist Church of Latter Day Saints (a la Warren Jeffs) believes this nowadays. The mainline (Salt Lake City, Utah) Latter Day Saints do not agree with this teaching any more.

I think they are showing all that nonsense to try and smear the reputation of the Republican who is running for president who is a Mormon.
Apparently the liberal TV media is very scared that he has a chance of beating Hillary...so they want to start early in portraying him as a religious kook....Has anything changed?

The key to understanding the liberal TV media is ignoring what they are SAYING on the show......and find out WHY they are broadcasting it. Do you REALLY think they care that you understand what the Mormon religion is all about?

The mother church, the LDS has renounced polygamy.
However they still believe that they will become a God and have their own planet to be God over.

No we do not. We are not allowed to have more than one wife. I think the show you are watching is about a break off of the true Church.
