As a Wiccan, I have no interest in going to the Christian version of Heaven after I die. I have full faith however that I'll be going to Summerland to assess my life before I am reincarnated to learn or relearn any life lessons I've missed and once again begin the circle of life. But regardless, I'm sure your friend appreciates that you have what you believe to be his best interest at heart. :)

It all depends on what you choose to believe
Rev. 14
1* Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads.
2* And I heard a voice from heaven, like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder, and the voice which I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps.
3* And they *sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one could learn the song except the one hundred and forty-four thousand who had been purchased from the earth.
4* These are the ones who have not been defiled with women, for they have kept themselves chaste. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from among men as first fruits to God and to the Lamb.
5* And no lie was found in their mouth; they are blameless.
The literal interpretation of this Scripture would demand the elimination of all married men and the exclusion of all women. The men must be "celibates." A further stipulation requires the Father's name in their foreheads and the ability to sing the new song which only the redeemed could master.
Or
Rom 2:5-11
But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. God "will give to each person according to what he has done." To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, and then the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism.
Which, to me, indicates that God will judge on how good a person you are. The deeds and work you have done for the good. Religion not withstanding.
Ignorant witch here! See ya in Summerland (eventually)

If a man confesses with his (own) mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, and believes in his (own) heart that God has raised Him from the dead, then he shall be saved. For with his mouth, a man makes a public confession of his private belief, and he has believed from the heart in the gospel message, which leads to salvation--for HIM!
No. You cannot pray anyone into Heaven.

God says no.
you can't pray someone into Heaven nor Hell.
all people have a choice to make.
they can either accept or reject God's Gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
those who accept it will spend eternity with God in Heaven.
those who do not.....
will not.
it is that simple.

Regardless what others say, we should listen rather to the words of Jesus:
"Not everyone who calls me ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only those who do what my Father in heaven wants them to do." (MT 7)
"Settle disputes with your adversary, amicably, before it is too late; otherwise, he might drag you into court and the court would hand you over to the authorities to be thrown in jail. I tell you, you won’t be released from there until you have paid the last penny." (MT 5)
"‘Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you fed me; I was thirsty and you gave me a drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; naked and you clothed me; sick and in prison and you visited me.’
"Then, the righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you anything to drink? Or a stranger and help you? Or naked and clothe you? When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’
"And the King will tell them, ‘When you did this for the least of my brothers, you were doing it for me!’" (MT 25)
God gave everyone of us Free Will and the freedom to believe what we want to believe. God doesn’t care whether one is atheist, pagan or believer. Provided we are doers of His will, then we will be allowed entry into heaven. It matters not who prays for us. And no one, not even Jesus, can pay for our sins and transgressions, either. We must pay our own debts. We alone can save ourselves.

Your deeds determine your destiny. If he was a good person surely he will go to heaven. Religions are just formalized code of conduct and worship. Ultimately it is the individual actions that count.

in case your dad and mom are that non secular, it will be frustrating for them to swallow. yet actual (and Christians have self assurance this, too) that's the proper to be one way or the different--warm or chilly--even as it contains faith. you may pass to mass and pray all you want, yet when that's no longer on your coronary heart, then your words advise no longer something. they could't MAKE you've faith, and they ought to keep in mind that. only tell them that, although you appreciate their beliefs and could proceed to adhere to their rules as long as you stay below their roof, you do not see eye-to-eye with them even as it contains faith. lots of the time once you're insincere, human beings can tell it in any case. And maximum religions look upon hypocrites as deserving of "the interior maximum pit of hell", so remind them of that. sturdy success with inspite of occurs :)

No, he will go to hell.
because when he stands in front of God he will answer for himself, you will not be able to help him.
Sorry, i know you are hoping someone says you should pray "this often" or "this much" and you will get him out of hell, but it does not work that way.
WHAT YOU CAN DO is live your life as Jesus would if He was in your place and your friend will believe because when he seas your life.

Instead of praying that he gets to heaven, pray for him to accept Jesus into his heart.
