Will that whole [scene] hair thing will work on me?

I ahve very thick hair.. and I just finished growing out my bags. I'm kinda tired because the way my hair growed out naturally is long, straight, and has split ends. I really want to have a cool new style but I don't know if any will work on my hair. I don't want it to be thinnede out to the extreme but if I had to I'd thin it out just a little bit. A cute razored style with short bangs sounds cute. Could you please send some specific pics please?? thanks
