I bought it for my daughter.
It didn't work AT ALL, none of the products.
Not even a little improvement of her acne.
This stuff is a total rip-off.

And be aware, when you pay for the trial product, you are actually signing up for a CLUB, where they send you an additional shipment every three months, and they bill you for it. It's in the SMALL PRINT, they don't tell you about it.

As for their money-back guarantee? When I sent back the remainder of the original product (that didn't work), they never refunded my money. And they gave me a hard time about the bill for the additional shipment that I wasn't aware I had signed up for, and sent back unopened.

Every time I hear an advertisement for this stuff, I get angry. "So, what's the cach?" the girl says. Now you know!

My recommendation? Stridex Maximum Strength. With daily use, it worked for all my teenagers. And it doesn't cost a fortune. Why do you think they flood the market with advertising for ProActiv, and that it's only mail order and costs so much? Because they make money by not honoring their "money-back guarantee."

If you can afford to keep using it, it really does work. but I have tried MANY things in my time trying to claer up my skin even some Rx things. Proactiv worked but as soon as I ran out of it and could not afford to buy more, it came back. Try Acne Free at Wal-mart. it is pretty much the same thing as pro activ and if you drink more water and watch what you eat (not too much grease and junk food) your face/skin should show results with in a month. Now, perfect skin?! I don't think so. most of the people who advertise for proactiv have the money to see professional dermitologists and have plastic surgery or laser treatments, so...try it and see for your self.!

Proactiv is extremely expensive for what it is: a sulfur cream and a benzoyl peroxide cream. You can buy the two separately for about $10-$15 for both. It's easy to find a benzoyl peroxide cream. Sulfur creams might have to be compounded at a pharmacy.
Side effects are redness of the skin and that sort of thing.

I bought the kits for my kids who are 25 and 23. They love them. Downside is tendency for drying out the skin but they do send a moisturizer with Proactive in it. Both have great results! Good Luck!

When I first used it, it made me break out a little bit more. But after using it every day, it really works!

none its perfect. it doesnt dry out your skin at all and you may think at first its not working but you will notice after like amonth or two that you dont break out as much and after 4 months youwont break out at all

the downside is that u become dependant on it, and if u don't use it one day, u can break out. other than that, it is the greatest thing ever
