Ok, so i know there are some dogs that can get sick or die because they are so cold. I looked up dogs that can live in the cold and it never said rottweilers. I am planning on moving to montana and im having rottweilers up there. But i need to travel with them and i want to know whether they can be outside in the snow in montana. or is it too cold?

rottweilers are adaptable its not tragically warm in germany, i dont suggest keeping them outdoors all the time they are very much inside dogs, but they love the snow and my rottweiler tolerates pennsylvania winters great

As long as they have a nice warm place to sleep they will be fine. I've all types of dogs and grew up in the mountains. They all adapt well if they have a nice shelter - and all my dogs live outside.

Dobermans live in Montana, so I don't see why Rottweilers wouldn't be ok!

Just let them get use to the weather and when it gets real cold let them in where it is warm. They are dogs you know.
