Notice how the three people who actually used it say it is good, while the people saying how terrible it is don't actually have it. I have it and it works well, I haven't had any signifcant problems at all. As for what the last guy said, Vienna is currently scheduled for late 2009, and it will probably end up being pushed back like Vista was. And also, Yahoo Messenger does work I have it running right now, and my MP3 player and my games all work, not sure about his.

I just bought a new PC last Saturday with vista on it and it is fun to use. You will like it for sure. It is easy to use and is made for people with no computer smarts. It is an advancement from xp. But don't get now, wait for about 6-12 mounts when drivers for programs come out for it. I cant use anything i download because there are no vista drivers for At yet. Cant play xp video games, mp3 player wont work, yahoo wont have a driver for its messenger out until June so i cant im anyone.... And i was told to look at vista as if it was windows ME - replaced by XP. Vista will be replace soon next year with windows Vienna. So save your money and go with Vienna the better program.

I've tried it, Home Premium is very good, but if your computer can't handle it, don't even bother with Basic. Ultimate is overrated as I think an extra 100 dollars is too much for the extra features.

I've heard that Vista offers increased security, but is very annoying. For instance deleting a file or running an .exe program asks you, "are you sure you want to run this?"

After you click "yes" it asks you AGAIN If you are positively sure that you want to run it. It happens on EVERY .exe program you try to open.

But it does offer enhanced toolbar, display and looks great!

Not worth the money though, i would strongly stick with your current OS.
