Yeah. I would still take her out.
But just let her know that you have had it all planned out and want her to have a taste of your cooking. : }
Then maybe she'll reconsider.
Tell her, "Just give me a chance!" LOL. ♥
Some girls tend to be a little too picky.
Just a few hours ago, I saw a question that was posted about how she wanted roses instead of another kind of flower. *rolls eyes*
You seem like a great guy. Just let her know you really want to do this for her.... and maybe you could take her out another time!

Yeah, I'd still take her out. Maybe she has something up her sleeve?
I would think it was incredibly sweet if my guy made me a dinner. I love it when a guy knows how to cook.

If you cook for her regualrly it might be the same as every other day in her head.
But ....I think she should be grateful that you had planned something and that you are a thoughtful guy.
I'd stick to my guns and say see you at my place.
