Has anyone tried the Taylor Made R7 Draw Driver out on a range? I want to know if it significantly cuts down on the slice off a tee. I'm a chopper with a driver and would like to keep my drives straighter into the fairways.

Although I am female...I have a Draw with a mens reg graphite shaft as I am a strong hitter. If I am hitting well...I NAIL it and I outdrive most males I play with. If I'm not hitting well...it goes a long way in the air but still a good distance but maily straight if I line up accordingly. I've only had it a couple of months so I am still mastering it. BUT....I am seriously considering a new quad instead as I think the degrees of the draw is too high for my swing. Good Luck :)

About 10 years ago, I had a slice with the driver that would go 2 fairways over. I bought a cheap "anti-slice" driver at K-mart for about $35 that somehow kept it in the fairway. As i got better, I was able to hit it straight or with a slight draw, using other knock-off drivers. I currently use a Taylormade 360 titanium driver, but would like to step up to the R580XD. I've found that today's clubs are replacing ones that were just as good last year, but the "old" clubs are a lot cheaper.

Yeah, right here: http://www.golfsmith.com/products/TM7300

Just click on the tab that says REVIEWS, to read reviews. There are 4 of them and they all gave it good ratings.

From personal experience, I know tha it doesn't do anything significant. It's a draw driver, not a hook driver. So if you have a really bad slice, it'll make it a fade.

I easily have both. yet Taylormade is superquad R7 and Nike sumo 2 and sasquatch to boot. I form of like superquad more desirable, yet might want to be because the superquad spec adventure my swing. I advise I easily have a stiff shaft with D5 swing weight, even as the Nike Sasquatch is in elementary words D0, and the Sumo 2 is D2. I don have R7 draw, and that i imagine it expenses about an identical as Superquad. more desirable sensible get Superquad.

In Golf Digest they said that this particular driver was good for golfers who slice 90% of the time.
I know for myself i will looking into getting one or should work on my swing to straighten out the banana hmmm such irritating questions one must consider when buying new hardware.
