Ok. For 17 years (since birth) I've not had a problem with milk. But in the last two weeks I have drunk milk on its own twice, and in tea once. After drinking the milk it takes about 10 minutes for me to feel ill, and then it goes on from there. Ending in vomiting, and then i'm fine.
No i'm not drinking gone off milk
No i'm not pregnant
No i dont think i'm having problems with any other dairy products.

Its probably not a major problem, its just baffling me as to what is going on.
Please help, or something

It is a typical case of Lactose Intolerance. Over the years, it seems that your ability to secrete the enzyme beta galactosidase has been reduced. Hence there is a problem in converting lactose into lactic acid and hence the undigested lactose while passing through the intestine, creates digestive disturbance like enteritis, flatulence etc. In some cases, it induces vomiting.

Have you had any illness just before this happened? Some illnesses can have after-effects that last a while.
Otherwise, it sounds as if you have suddenly developed severe lactose intolerance. It can happen; it happened to my brother, he developed it in his 20s. He couldn't eat ice cream!
Get some lactase tablets (digestive enzyme for lactose intolerance--at the health food store and probably the drug store) and take them when you drink milk. If it doesn't make you sick then, there's your answer.
I sent my brother some, he learned to make his own ice cream using lactase powder, and he was thrilled!

you can have a slight case of lactose intolerance since milk of course would be the dairy with the most lactose that could be why it is affecting you...
