a horse is tied to a 15ft rope, but the horse is feeding on a pile of hay 20ft away. How is this possible? Explain.

the horse is tied to a rope that is 15 feet long, but the other end of the rope is not attached to anything, leaving the horse free, albeit a little bit silly looking with a rope tied to it.

Either the rope isn't tied to anything, or it's tied to it's tail and the horse is over 5 feet long.
