i asked him to sadies hawkins by leaving balloons by his door and a note and everything asking him to it and i rang the doorbell and ran away. it was pretty fun. but yeah, how long should it take before he calls me with his answer? are guys awkward with that kind of stuff?

First of all if he doesn't know who it's from, he may be reluctant to answer. But if he knows it's from you, then don't wait until the last minute, contact him and ask him if he received your invitation and was just wondering if he did want to go.I think it was a cute idea,but yea guys can be alittle weird about those type of things.But if you really like him, then find out if he's willing to go Good luck.

If i was a guy id think thats weird. Thats more of a guy to girl thing kinda and it seems desperate. But keep your hopes up! Everyone has different personalities^^

ask yourself these questions first:
did you make sure that you left a name and number on something that wouldnt fall off and fly away in the wind?
is he OK with an aggressive female asking him out?
is he still available or taken?
is he into social events?

You shouldn't have run away, you should have handed it to him and gotten his answer.
