I bought my first copy of THE STAND in 1978 for $12. I read it so many times that I eventually had to replace it. Twice. The last time I bought it I shelled out $35 for a hardback, and that was with a discount. Definately THE STAND, I read it at least once a year.

It's not a question of which is the BETTER ending....read the Bible to find out the True ending....

Both are man's depictions of Biblical events, but the Stand is hardly close to anything factual.....

I'll go with Left Behind

Ths Stand. Kinda the same message though, in that the "good" people and "bad" people ended up flocking together.

The Stand. "Left Behind" and the sequels stink.

The Stand, because the author knows that it is fiction.

How about we just ignore that superstitious nonsense and work together to solve the problems we have - among us and between us?
