I'd suggest consulting your physician. With this being new onset pain, they need to examine you and rule out some things. If it's migraine pain, they can prescribe some medication to alleviate the pain and stop the attacks. Definitely consult your physician.

Sounds like a focus headaches or migraines. If you didn't have this problem before two weeks ago, and now you're getting them every night, they could be a sign of a serious neurological problem. You should see your doctor as soon as possible.

Do you feel stressful?
Have you eaten something allergic?

I've heard a case my friend suffered from a headache just because of food allergy, coffee or MSG, for example.

Seek help from doctors if anything goes worse.

#1 drink about 1/2 gallon of water per day - the head of neurorology at UCDavis (about 10 years ago) likened a car low on oil to a body low on water (engine siezing up).
#2 Daily muscle relaxer (1 or 2 swigs of molasses or 1 or 2 bananas) they contain magnesium and potassium.
#3 Massage therapy - professional or read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies (it teaches you how). The principle that causes the headaches regardless of how severe is that muscles get knots (trigger points), which make the muscles stay tight, which press on nerves.
Your back, shoulders, neck and everywhere on your head will definitely play into the cause and it will take a while to get all the trigger points to go away.

One-sided headaches are at least one symptom of migraine headaches. Others include nausea, an aura (visual, auditory, or taste), sensitivity to light and sound, and aversion to warmth. If any of that sounds like what you're dealing with, make an appointment with your doctor to find out the best treatment options for you.

You have to first identify the source or rather the triggers to your headache.

Are you under stress this period? Stress triggers headaches

Did you eat anything differently? Food triggers headaches.

Have you changed your sleeping patterns? Sleeping pattern changes trigger headaches.

If you know what is the trigger, then you can addresss accordingly.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information
