It's important to ascertain what is meaningful in life. When you have a diploma (I'm assuming high school) you are getting yourself ready for a future at a college. With a bachelor's degree, you are sure of a job. But true ambition will pave a road to a career. You can achieve many goals, and provide yourself many challenges by seeking a career.
Let's weigh the options. At home you can watch TV. With a career, you can watch projects be developed, ideas be implemented, and ultimately your dreams come true. With loads of money you can help yourself with lots of stuff. With a career, you can help others through your expertise that others don't have.
It comes down to joy in life. You can find true joy when you're in a career. Helping others provides true joy. Empty joy comes from helping yourself. You're going to find that that gaining of knowledge and leading a life of prosperity comes through your own work, and perseverance. I would strongly encourage you to get that diploma and start yourself toward a bright future.

Generally everyone goes to school because you need to get a job to support yourself when you grow up. However, education is not just for earning a salary. Education gives you knowledge. Knowledge brings about a lot of positive traits in a person e.g.confidence, intelligence, maturity, rationality etc. With knowledge you will be able to better appreciate the world around you. I can go on writing pages on the value of knowledge but think about this, if you were very rich but with no education, you will be constantly under the threat of being cheated out of your wealth by any educated person around you!!

An education is important. Even if you are well off you still need an education, otherwise you wind up like some rich dummy like Jessica Simpson. Have you heard her talk? she's not the sharpest tool in the shed!

well...cuz money and a good life can't keep away truancy officers.
also, i may sound like a teacher or parent on this one, but no matter how much you or i hate school, later on in life it will come into play-whether it be social, lateral thinking-it helps you stay out of trouble and make good decisions.
