advice on guys/sadie hawkins?

i asked him leaving balloons by his door and a note and everything asking him and i rang the doorbell and ran away. it was pretty fun. but yeah, how long should it take before he calls me with his answer? are guys awkward with that kind of stuff?

Yeah, they are totally awkward about that kind of thing. You should go ahead and follow up your note with a phone call so that you can ask someone else if this guy turns out to be a flake.
