guy (that a girl has been friends with since she was born) says that if he wasnt with his gf he would want to be with her. And tells her that he loves her (while his gf is out of town) and hangs out with her all weekend and sleeps in her bed (but no sex). Then his gf comes back and he says that he Just did all those things to make her feel better because she is going through a divorce. Did he really just do that to make her feel better? or does he really have feeling for her and is confused? or what???

I got to tell you, most likely he was just saying those things but not necessarily for the reason that he gave. If he really loved you and wanted to be with you he wouldn't have a gf anymore. It was most likely just something that he said because he wanted to have some type of intimacy and companionship while his girlfriend was away. Considering that u have known him since u were born, I would think that if he really liked you that u would already know.

Beware, He might just be testing the waters so to speak. If you have been going through a divorce then deal with that first and keep your distance from him. If later it's meant to be then fine and great and all the bells and whistles. But if not then you could lose a friend forever and never really know what could have been .

The guy is confused, but also greedy. He wants both girls, but
doesn't want gf to know about it. Girl, I'd say to you, "He's a
loser. Dump him for someone you can trust and rely on. What's
to say that if you two were the couple, he wouldn't still mess
around with others? No, he wants all the candy without paying
the price.

This guy is confused. He shouldn't be doing those things with his g.f. out of town. A girl going through a divorce doesn't need a guy like this. He's not mature nor honest.

I think he has feelings but feels is stuck in the being friends relationship. Just show your interest in doing a little more and he may come around. Might just need to be showed that you can be more than just friends.

Phone him in five years and ask him. In the meantime, keep your distance.
