try every bit of advise (the sensible ones) from here if its not causing you any pain or its not cutting off the blood supply, if it all fails you might have to get it cut off. But i must stress if you think its cutting off the blood or its hurting then get it seen to quickly.

I am not too sure the water trick works...this tends to make the hand swell a bit. I suggest putting your hand in the freezer for a bit. Dry cold is better than wet cold. Or...come to Chicago. :) My rings always get really loose when I am outside in the super cold which is why I suggest the freezer. My friend's wedding ring was stuck on when she got pregnant and I know how frustrating it is. It seems like we tried everything, but she ended up having to get it cut off.

Another "trick" to reduce swelling, besides chilling it, is compression. Take a strip of stretchy material, like an elastic bandage, and wrap it somewhat tightly around the finger. Not too tight. Use your judgment. This should help reduce the swelling temporarily, and maybe you can lubricate and get the ring off.

Soak your hand with the ring in ice water to bring down any swelling for about 20 min. Then rub a lot of hand cream on you hand. Twist the ring while pulling.
Hopefully this will work. If not you will have to cut the ring off.

Run chilly water over your hand, or carry some thing chilly. at the same time as your temperature is going down, the swelling ought to sufficient for you to get the ring off. in the different case, use a contact of olive oil and coat your knuckle with it, and attempt to slide the ring off. solid success

If the string/floss trick didn't work, try soaking it in a glass of warm soapy water. When it starts to look like a prune, slide it off while twisting.

Run the finger under cold water to minimize the swelling, then use some soap to make it slippery. You may still have to tug a bit but this should help.

Soak your finger in cold water, which should help the swelling, lubricate the ring with dishsoap, baby oil, anything like that.

Easier to cut the finger than put it in the freezer.
