What a great question! Actually, as Paul said, we "die daily." We give up the opportunities of worldly life and success in the interest of letting God work out His purposes through us. In a very real sense, our own lives are gone, and what's actually taking place now is an indestructible, eternal process...
"Iam crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20 Personally, I already have "ended it all," and, yes, I notice that when I am willing to acknowledge His presence, God is always with me!

The Apostle Paul struggled with the same dilemma. He listed the advantages of each, but in the end he concluded that remaining was better because we only have a limited amount of time in this life to make a difference in the next.

No, we are all here for a reason. Are you a christian? If you read the Bible you would know that it is a sin to commit suicide. I cant wait to go to heaven, it has to be better than the hell we endure here on earth besides it gives us something to look forward to.

Interesting question. I've certainly met my share of believers that seemed totally disgusted with this "earthly domain." I have asked a rare few if they wanted cuts in the line for their ticket to the great beyond...

Some certainly seem that way. Take the one poster Leanne M, her last few questions are all about how she longs for death.

Not all are this way though. I've met and talked to plenty of Christians who aren't so fixated on death.

Sure seems that way. After all, all they ever think about is getting ready for their death.

No, God hates suicide. We have work to do before we go to our reward.
