The mathematician Pascal was aslo a pietist( type of theologian). He had a wager that explained this idea. It goes something like this. If you believe in God, and he does exsist, then you are set and have gained much. If he does not exsist then you have not really lost anything. If you don't believe, and God doesnt exsist, then you have lost nothing, but if he does exsit then basically you have lost everything. To me, I would rather believe then not. How about you?

NO. I have seen so many miracles happen with cancers being healed. Cerebal palsy healed. Lives saved. I know that I serve a true God in a great Spirit filled church! I can see why so many people are questioning it though. They see churches that now ordain homosexual ministers, twist and bend the Bible to fit any lifestyle etc. People are starving for true leadership. That is why I am non denominational (charismatic worship and prayer style though). I live for God and him alone.

If I had to choose a Christian religion though, it would be a conservative Spirit filled one such as Vineyard, Assemblies of God, Church of God (Cleveland, TN), or Pentecostal Church of God. I would settle for Southern Baptist, Free Methodist, and Nazarene also. There are more, but those are the ones off the top of my head.

I doubt it, but there is always a possiblity. The second someone offers up some evidence for god, I will evaluate it. I try to keep an open mind.

To answer your question, I'll ask one of my own. Can you walk out your door and see all God made and say it didn't happen? If it didn't happen, then nothing would be there!!!!!!!!!! I would rather live a life according to the Bible and find out that it was a lie than to live like the world and find out that it was.

Make a choice, stick to it, and there will be no regrets. It may be the wrong idea, but at least it is a choice I made. :P

Definitely. I'm always ready to change my mind. Actually I do so in small ways every day. Paradigm shifts happen every few years.

Of course. That's part of being an adult. Self-questioning and occasional self-doubt are the path to self-awareness and fulfillment.

Of course, I've been proven wrong before! It's funny when people 'know' they're right.

What idea are you talking about? When you say idea, what do you mean? Be more specific here.
