Ugh, cramps, nothing worse to have on a day where you can't go out on the icy road to your local CVS to get some Advil.

Any suggestions on how to at least dull the pain?

I actually never get bloating. Not that it would matter much anyways, I stick to boyfriend-cut jeans a lot of the time so it's not noticable.

Exercise, and contrary to logic, water. But the exercise one is really good

Lay down on your back on the sofa and elevate your head and legs... make sure that you also have a heating pad plugged in and rest it on your stomach. It is also not a bad idea to make some hot tea... it calms the stomach.
Trust me, I do this all the time because bad cramps run in my family. The majority of the time I am crawled up in a ball crying to myself in the corner. Hope this helps you!

Try to identify what is causing the stomachaches and avoid it. Do you drink soda, chew gum, drink with a straw? They can cause gas and/or diarrhea in some people. Drink enough water and eat fiber if you have constipation. Some people are sensitive to some foods; more common ones are milk or wheat. Avoid these for several days, and see if your stomach doesn't act up as much.

For achy ankles sit down with your feet in ankle deep bath-temp water with Epsom salts. If its legs, stomach, or feminine cramps, i suggest a heating pad. Be sure to get one that turns off automatically, or you may fall asleep and wake up to a burned belly. >:) Stock up on at least some painkillers for the serious cramps (when weather permits) :)

Heating pad is the best thing. just put on your stomach. Don't drink water because it just adds to bloating. Some streatching helps but really the heating pad.Try some yoga or really good streatching exercises.

This could be because of muscle fatigue or dehydration. Try exercising all parts of your body. It also sometimes is due to disuse atrophy. Consult a doctor if it persists. You can also look for information in the web. I found this website very useful. http://aches.in/cramps.html

hot bath, heating pad, use a pad instead of a tampon

And believe it or not, sit ups or stomach crunches. I know it sound weird but it helps (take the tampon out first)

Put something warm on your lower back, like a heating pad. Works for me.

Eat a banana. You're lacking potassium (if you have them in your legs). Menstrual craps, try a heating pad.

The Fetal Position!!
Just lie down on your side on the couch/bed/floor-if-you-prefer/whatever and get in the fetal position. It should help--Good luck! :)
