check with your service provider, may be some setting on your phone is wrong.

Hi, since Dec last year, the Thai mobile numbers had an additional digit "8" added just after the '0', example 081 xxxx xxxx now instead or 01 xxxx xxxx. So if your fiance's number was gotten before Dec 2006, you will have to add the additional digit to it.

Numbers after Dec 2006 are all inclusive of the additional digit already.

You need to have international access for your telephone for starters and then you need to be sure you are using all correct city and country codes. From the error you mention here, I would guess that your phone is not GSM enabled and without that technology you are out of luck...

make sure that you have correct international access code followed by country code (66) and mobile number. 8 has been added after 0 and before phone number.

Your dial number then should be (International access code)(Country code - 66)(mobile code - 8)(mobile phone number 8 digits x-xxx-xxxx)

You may be dialling wrong number.
Dail as thus :- + 66 - Area Code(without zero) - Mobile number
