Either poke it with a fork and watch the juice run out, if its clear its done if it has a red or pink color it still has blood in it or use a meat thermometer poke it in to the center of the thickest part and it should read 180 degrees for poultry to be done. If you are broiling marinated chicken you should broil on low because marinade has a high sugar content usually and burns easily.

First is how long did you marinated the chicken? Marinated meat should be used within 2 days. If not, put in freezer for 1 week to 15 days.
The following is one of my favorite recipes of all times:
BUSY NIGHT CHICKEN
Serves 4
Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts
1 to 2 teaspoon garlic salt
Methods:
1. If chicken breasts are frozen, defrost in microwave for 10 minutes.
2. Put chicken breasts (skin side up) in a baking dish. Sprinkle both sides with garlic salt.
3. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until skin is crisp and chicken is not longer pink.
