Okay so this guy on my hockey team DOES NOT like me in that g/f sort of way. yeah i am a little depressed but i have never told him up front that i loved him. Hockey season is almost over, and I probably will never see him again. Should i tell him i love him before we part forever?

I think you should keep your feelings to yourself. If this guy doesn't like you that way, all your going to get out of him is a sorry but i don't feel the same. Besides, if you're never going to see him again then there's no hpe for a relationship, is there? Keep your love to yourself and enjoy feeling that way about someone. Don't ruin it by asking for pain and rejection.

Well, if you two are going to "part forever" then why not stake out a moment to tell him how fond you have become of him - and why. Chances are that nothing will come of it, you will be temporarily embarassed, and you can always bask in knowing that you were strong enough to make your feelings known. It may be a small chance for success, but you might find that your honesty awakens feelings in him that are, until now, silent. Either way you win by becoming more empowered or you have inspired a budding, new relationship opportunity

love is such a strong word. Perhaps what you are feeling is more of an infatuation. it's okay to be infatuated with a team member or classmate. As for your relationship with this guy, You should let him know how you feel,but don't use the word love, try something like i really do find you attractive,interesting,someone i wouldn't mind dating. And even if you don't have the same feeling, i hope that we can be friends and stay in touch. try not to be too pushy, most guys don't like being pushed into relationships. GOOD LUCK!!!

you have to be friends before you can be any thing else... get his address and phone number and keep in touch with him.
i like your way of thinking though... im a 40year old woman and was divorced... fell in love with the guy i was training to take my job... had bought a house in st. augustine,fla. told him i loved him... we ended up being married 2 years coming up and a little boy to boot! mind you im 40 and i think you have a long way to go in life... but feeling are feelings and there are no guarantees on tomorrow... i still to this day always let people know how i feel about them... you never know what tomorrow holds, and now is the best time to let someone know how you feel... garth brooks has a great song about it ... called if tomorrow never comes... check out the song,,, and then make your decision... lots of love to you!!!

How do you know that you really love him or just have a major crush? I think it wouldn't hurt telling him that you have feelings for him...if you get it out in the open...he will either let you down and then you will get over him...or something might come of it...so either way...you should say something i think.

If you truly love this chap, tell him! Life is short and there is nothing more noble than love. Be unashamed and risk learning the truth... if it is unrequited, so be it, you cannot force someone to love you, but you never know, it could be the beginning of a beautiful romance.!!!!

I'd find someone new to pour your affections over... preferably someone who feels the same way as you.
