i need to relax, because i have anxiety, and im always stressed out, and my mind is always running with thought, and i have a hard time relaxing. so plzz help and give me some kind of ideas or suggestion! plzz & thank u yahoo users!! ( =

Well I was going threw and still kind of am going threw that problem.. You need to go to ur doctor and tell them that you have anxiety issues.. I did and my doctor put me on anti-depressant/anti-anxiety meds.. I've been on them for a week 1/2 and I notice a little bit of a change within myself.. I also try to listen to music, dance, drink chamomiel tea, I also do yoga and I have aromatherapy lotions that say relaxing on them.. they do help.Also take deep relaxing calming breaths.. slowly in and out.. Hey Baby Fire. If this has been going on for some time then you need to get a professional opinion. Start with your family doctor. Everyone suffers the symptoms you stated from time to time, but if it's a constant thing then it could indicate something more serious. The symptoms you described are often associated with bi-polar and Adult Attention Deficit Disorder, but you need a professional opinion. DO NOT, repeat DO NOT try to treat this yourself.

Just take a deep breath. Tense up and let it all out. Breath in for 4 and out for 20. Just go to sleep and when you wake up watch TV, surf the web, listen to music. Just, relax. Don't worry about anything.

Check out the Midwest Center for Anxiety and Depression on the internet. I hear their commercial alot. For a quick remedy, also, try guided imagery or meditation. Best of luck to you:)

You can stop elaborating on thoughts as they appear, just letting them come and go. Watch thoughts as they appear and disappear without following them to whatever conclusion.

try having sex
try sleeping
try listening to music that makes you feel good
try hangin oout with friends
try talking to someone about your problems


if all fails
take pills.

i heard music helps in many ways... & this case is 1 of them... try it! i hope it helps :) just try chillin' out in your room with your music & headphones
