Hair grows and dies just like every other cell in your body.
Soon or later, all hair will fall out by itself - once it has reached the end of its life cycle.
New hair constantly grows back.
Now, whatever you do to your hair, if you stress and pull it excessively, it can damage the existing hair and cause it to fall out prematurely and therefore leave you with less hair in the moment.
This is not a permanent condition. Once you stop abusing the hair, it grows back just fine.

Your nutrition and stress level also plays a vital role in the health of your hair. If you eat right, your hair will grow faster and stronger. If you eat junk food, your hair will reflect that.
Hair, as any other part of the body, is not a separate 'part', but is integrated in the rest of your body's health.

No, it does not permanently thin your hair. i does not make you go bald quicker either. I straighten my hair all the time, and I have no problem with "hair loss". But if you straighten you hair everyday all the time like my friend, your hair will get fried and never be soft again.

maybe a little b/c it can sometimes pull a little hair out while you're doing it, but that won't make all that much of a difference. no, it doesn't make it go thin permanently. i know people that do straighten thier hair every single day and its the same as it has always been. it can fry your hair, though.

No, straightening you hair only heats up the cuticle of the hair that already exists - it does not have an effect on the hair that grows afterwards

only if your do it too much then put chemicals in it like it you dye your hair or get it permed. it will grow back tho. i heard that there was a person who dyed her hair constantly and curled it. when she got it straightened, all of her hair fell out.

but thats just her after all of the damage. it wont make u go bald or have much thinner hair but it will damage it!!!!!
