Why are we being told to forget Vista already and look ahead to Windows Vienna?

Is Microsoft really that greedy? Who can afford to upgrade every year?

I'm using Windows 98 so obviously I can't wait until Vienna is released.

no but vista was annother black eye for microsoft so they are scrambling to get something else out ( do you remember ME?)
